Robotic Solutions specializes in engineering, designing and building entire custom automated systems to dramatically increase efficiency and production. Every type of system requires different components and features paired with efficient integration and coordination. But the goals remain the same; reducing labor costs, increasing throughput, eliminating human error, minimizing setup time, material handling issues associated with special or large parts, maximizing machine and tool life and improving tolerances, etc.
We design and manufacture customized systems without the extremely high costs usually associated with developing these types of products. Earlier design methods required building and testing several physical prototypes before a production unit could be manufactured. But advanced virtual prototyping software has drastically changed how we design and build new products.
All of our mechanical designs are created as 3D models using SolidWorks®, the world's #1 mainstream 3D design software. Manufacturing drawings are directly associated to the solid models. We perform analysis on the native models and assemblies with COSMOS® Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. Finally, NC machine code is created directly from the native models for machining operations.
Robotic Solutions can design and build a "stand alone" automated machine to meet your exact requirements, but the system shouldn’t stop there. In non-automated systems, it is very common to actually spend more time setting up, handling and loading material, dry running and inspecting parts, than in machining parts.
In addition to the robotic machines and material handling systems, software is an integral part of the system. We develop our own software as required by the application, including Cell Controller Software, Operator Interface Software, Automated Numerical Control (ANC) Software, Nest Viewer Software, and Scheduling Software.
We develop interfaces to communicate with a variety of commercial software systems and hardware components including optimizing, scanning, inspection, vision systems, and the customers Enterprise.
